This position has the responsibility of spreading happiness and making sure that all aspects of the Café meet KKF standards by: 1) ensuring that you learn and follow KKF policies and Café procedures, 2) ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience, 3) maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work and guest environment, and 4) communicating all matters of concern, discrepancies, and team member recommendations to the Captain.
Essential Functions
- Accurately handle all forms of money transactions as well as close registers and reconcile cash at the end of the business day.
- Assist with opening and/or closing the Café as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the dining room area by clearing tables, disposing of trash, wiping of tables, and sweeping of floors.
- Assure guest satisfaction by greeting all guests, visiting tables, responding to guest food and service issues immediately
- Ensure the dining areas are clean and presentable
- Complete operational logs
- Have complete menu knowledge and be able to share with guests.
- Exercise proper food handling procedures, maintain the cleanliness of our food serving lines, and always ensure guest food areas
- All other related duties as required and assigned.
