The Village Host welcomes guests by intentionally engaging and interacting with them and provides information and directions when requested. The Village Host also collects bus group data and develops relationships with bus drivers and bus groups. The Host is also responsible for providing information about group incentives to bus group drivers and guides as well as providing general information to guests exploring the Village. Village Host will also assist in clerical and behind-the-scenes group tour duties as needed.

The Village Host welcomes guests by intentionally engaging and interacting with them and provides information and directions when requested. The Village Host also collects bus group data and develops relationships with bus drivers and bus groups. The Host is also responsible for providing information about group incentives to bus group drivers and guides as well as providing general information to guests exploring the Village. Village Host will also assist in clerical and behind-the-scenes group tour duties as needed.
Essential Functions
- Greet bus and motor coach groups with a smile
- Present information about the shops, history and culture of the Village
- Complete data collection forms regarding bus traffic
- Provide Village information and directions to guests
- Engage/talk with Village guests
- Develop relationships with bus group drivers, leaders, and guests
- Perform all other related duties as assigned and required
- Assist in relaying important information to guests
- Provide materials for add-on tours and experiences to guests
- Embody our vision, mission, and values
- High level of energy with enthusiastic/positive attitude
- Proficient communication skills with a guest focus
- Ability to talk in front of groups and communicate important information
- Ability to talk on the phone
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Proficient in computer skills
- Self-motivated/able to work with little supervision
