Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician

Job Description:

Kitchen Klean Inc. is hiring a full-time Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to maintain the safety and functionality of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, fans, and ductwork. This position is essential to ensuring optimal performance and safety in commercial kitchen environments.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, fans, ductwork) for safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites using a company truck.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in various environments, including rooftops (flat) and high areas.

Qualifications:

• Ability to climb ladders and work on flat roofs.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Must be willing to obtain Massachusetts and Boston certifications for career advancement.

Schedule:

• 4 nights a week, Monday through Thursday, with approximately 10-hour shifts each night.
• Overtime available but not mandatory.
• Paid travel time to and from job sites.

• Starting pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications).
