**Overview**

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your exceptional hospitality skills, combined with your ability to multitask and communicate effectively, will be essential in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.

**Duties**

- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly and efficiently.

- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists, ensuring a smooth flow of guests.

- Utilize Toast POS to efficiently manage tables, orders, and payment.

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.

- Offer recommendations and help guests choose from our menu.

- Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience, addressing any issues promptly.

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand, tables, and floors.

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.

- Handle phone calls and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

- Provide assistance to other staff members as needed.

**Experience**

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly valued.

- Strong background in customer service, hospitality, and guest relations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proficiency in using Toast POS or similar systems.

- Experience with food service operations and guest services is preferred.

- Ability to help with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organization tasks.

- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively.

**Skills**

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
