This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's performance, from operational excellence to delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest level of quality and cleanliness. The store manager leads the team, drives sales, manages costs, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and effectively. Implement strategies to enhance productivity and profitability. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule and manage the restaurant staff. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the restaurant's budget. Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial targets are met. Oversee cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. Respond to customer complaints and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to resolving any issues promptly.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections to uphold these standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar managerial role in the hospitality industry. (5 years minimum)
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
