Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team working on kitchen remodeling projects in Bergen County. Our services include wood restoration, cabinet painting, cabinet re-dooring, cabinet refacing, new custom cabinets, flooring and tile backsplash. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive to shop or jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
- Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily.
- Keep track of tools and keep jobsite materials organized.
- Communicate with project manager daily about progress.
- Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed).
Skills:
- Stellar work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and to provide feedback to project manager
- Ability to safely operate power tools including; table saw, miter saw, router, various nail guns and hand tools.
- Able to install doors and drawer fronts
- Able to drill/install cabinet drawer box glides and hardware
- Able to install roll-out trays and upgrade accessories in cabinets
- Able to install crown molding
- Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
- Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record.
- Must have an eye for quality and detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
