JOB SUMMARY :
Following instruction and direction from the Executive Chef, this position will be responsible for the washing, cleaning, storing of all pans, utensils, and equipment for performance food service catering operation for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. This position requires prep and cleaning responsibilities. Teamwork above all.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Wash, clean, store, organize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
Cleaning of kitchen areas, dining room and other areas as needed
Receiving and putting away orders. (must be able to lift over 50#)
Prep fruits, vegetables and other items as assigned by Chefs
QUALIFICATIONS :
1 years in food service and customer service experience preferred
ServSafe and / or Food Handlers Certification
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices
Strong organization skills, desire to learn
Ability to keep all areas clean, neat and organized at all times
Confidence in the work you do, professional demeanor, and a service first attitude
Perform the physical demands – Remain on your feet for several hours at a time, ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, withstand high temperature conditions, bend, kneel, and stoop
A working knowledge of baseball a plus
Spanish fluency is a plus
WORK SCHEDULE :
Ability to work non-standard schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
Your schedule will be built around the 2025 home game schedule (mid-March 2025 - end of September 2025)
Approximate Shift times-
10 : 00am-10 : 00pm for night games
6 : 00am-6 : 00pm for day games
