About the Role
This is a full-time position responsible for cash management and accounts payable functions under the direction of the Director of the regional library system which provides library service in five counties and includes nine branch libraries and a mobile library.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares all financial statements, reports statistics, pays bills, prepares preliminary data for the annual budget.
- Responsible for cash management and accounts payable functions.
- Works closely with the system director and administrative assistant.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years bookkeeping experience and accounting software experience required.
- Two years of college preferred; additional bookkeeping/accounting classes on a college level are desirable.
- Experience as a full-charge bookkeeper is desirable but not required.
- Knowledge of Sage accounting software is desirable.
- Knowledge of government fund accounting is an asset.
