Excavator Operator – Kitching & Co Dirtworx
Location: Springtown TX
Position: Full-Time
Kitching & Co Dirtworx, a leading underground utility company, is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with expertise in digging bore pits and assisting with auger bore machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig bore pits for utility installations.
- Assist with auger bore machine operations, ensuring efficient and safe project completion.
- Maintain precision in digging and work to grade specifications.
- Work around existing utilities and infrastructure with caution and care.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and local regulations at all times.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators, preferably in utility and construction environments.
- Strong understanding of digging techniques and the ability to dig on grade.
- Comfortable working in close proximity to existing utilities and other underground structures.
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory).
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
