Would you like to join us in this mission? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team as Sr Specialist, Site Supply Chain. The Sr Specialist will have responsibility for developing business requirements and other projects/workstreams in support of supply chain operations. In addition, the role will own and develop capacity assessments/operational models while representing supply chain on site and global projects. Responsibilities: Works on problems of a diverse scope, where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Through collaboration with internal site and global partners, develop capacity and operational models to align with Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) forecasts, facility capabilities and business requirements. Lead and/or assist the development of operational functional requirements and business process flow architecture of ERP functions (EBS/SAP/MES) and features, in support of Gilead’s existing and future business plans. Provides global business process, data flow, and documentation support. Develops and implements appropriate business documentation. Provides supervision, technical support, training and guidance to less experienced colleagues. Plans daily tasks, prioritizes and schedules activities. Contributes to the development of complex new concepts, techniques, and standards. Work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results. Ensures GMP compliance and safe work practices, including current and correct SOPs. Analyzes systems and processes and impact on business performance. Develops tools needed to support division Center of Excellence Service Teams action. Introduces and integrates new technologies and/or new processes, as needed. Supports and develops inventory level tactics to support business goals. Assists with the preparation of project plans and manages projects to successful and timely completion. Supports the implementation of supply chain initiatives to achieve departmental targets. Uses approved methods to make decisions in line with company goals and objectives, e.g. transfer or delivery of inventory, production and purchasing schedules, selection of suppliers. Work after hours, weekends, and on call dependent on business needs Basic Qualifications: Master's Degree with 3 years experience OR BS / BA Degree with 5 years experience OR High School Degree with 7 years experience Preferred Qualifications: Degree in life sciences, project and supply chain management or business administration with a certification in logistics or planning. 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical/Bio-tech industry with 2 years of logistics and planning. Clinical and/or commercial supply experience in a planning and supply chain leadership role. Ability to lead, guide, mentor others to accomplish individual and organizational goals. Experience working in close collaboration with Manufacturing, Project Management, functional team leaders, clinical teams, contract manufacturing partners and/or cold chain shippers and logistics providers. Agile and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix role. Prior experience with planning/scheduling system (RTMS/SAP) and ERP system (EBS/SAP/MES). Strategic mindset evaluating business and operational models. Demonstrated technical skills and mindset in logistic and cold chain management including process optimization and delivery of patient kits. Knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain; international distribution experience (Pharmaceuticals) Critical attention to detail, adaptable and enthusiastic team player. Possess skills necessary to evaluate and interpret complex problems using multiple sources of information. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint/Word skills. Additional specific qualifications in the area of clinical supplies demand and logistics/ or planning management including and APICs, CSCP/CPIM, and related processional certifications. The salary range for this position is: $101,830.00 - $131,780.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
