Job Description
Kite is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to serve as Director, Cell Therapy Marketing Strategy, reporting to the Head of US Marketing. This role requires a strategic thinker and self-starter who excels at uncovering critical insights, addressing pivotal questions, and developing comprehensive strategies to drive results. The ideal candidate will leverage a blend of market analysis, field intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to craft and execute initiatives that drive patient referrals for CAR T cell therapies, aligned with Kite’s mission and commercial objectives.

Job Description
Kite is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to serve as Director, Cell Therapy Marketing Strategy, reporting to the Head of US Marketing. This role requires a strategic thinker and self-starter who excels at uncovering critical insights, addressing pivotal questions, and developing comprehensive strategies to drive results. The ideal candidate will leverage a blend of market analysis, field intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to craft and execute initiatives that drive patient referrals for CAR T cell therapies, aligned with Kite’s mission and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage market data, insights, and field intelligence to develop and implement a robust referral strategy that identifies and addresses referral barriers. The referral strategy should account for various customer types, care settings, and regional differences, ensuring a customer-first approach to CAR T adoption.
- Partner with key external and internal stakeholders, including sales, market access, and medical affairs teams, to ensure integrated planning and seamless execution.
- Align referral strategies with US strategy, brand objectives, and stakeholder needs.
- Represent Kite at key customer engagements, conferences, and forums to support CAR T referral initiatives and gather actionable insights.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to establish and optimize referral processes, including situational analysis, goal setting, and the tactical deployment of resources.
- Monitor market dynamics and program performance, providing actionable insights and iterative improvements, in conjunction with insights and analytics teams
- Manage external agencies and partnerships to develop and execute impactful referral programs and/or tactics
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies in all referral-related activities.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) with 8 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, pharmaceutical marketing, or biotechnology marketing OR
- Master’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, pharmaceutical marketing, or biotechnology marketing OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, pharmaceutical marketing, or biotechnology marketing OR
- Associate Degree and 14 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, pharmaceutical marketing, or biotechnology marketing OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 16 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, pharmaceutical marketing, or biotechnology marketing
- Understanding of the hematology/oncology market landscape and referral dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and results-driven marketing plans
- Exceptional project management skills, including leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively, leveraging outside-the-box approaches to solve complex challenges and develop impactful strategies in dynamic and evolving markets.
