Summary : Under the guidance of the SVP, Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist will focus on recruitment, employee relations, performance management and employee development for the Bank.
Compensation Structure :
Grade : 18 Range : $57,013 - $85,519
Grade : 19 Range : $64,840 - $100,502
This position may be eligible for an annual bonus depending on business factors and if the employee meets eligibility criteria.
Essential Functions :
- Supports all aspects of recruiting for non-exempt and exempt level positions to include job posting, sourcing, interviewing and offer development and negotiation.
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to managers and supervisors which include coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.
- Partners with business leaders to assess ongoing departmental issues (i.e., turnover, team-building, employee relations) and recommend solutions.
- Protects the interests of the employees and Kitsap Bank by ensuring compliance with company Human Resource policies and federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Responsible for New Employee Orientation including content, presentation, scheduling, and facilitation.
- Conducts exit interviews and stay interviews and analyzes the data to make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for administering the iBank program. This includes promoting the program, reviewing submitted ideas, researching feasibility of implementing ideas, making recommendations to management for implementation and payment of awards to employees.
- Promotes and coordinates employee recognition programs including Employee of the Quarter, KUDO$ and the Employee Service Award program.
- Participates in the execution of HR initiatives in the areas of performance management, employee relations and employee development.
