What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greenskeeper Course Setup position at Kitsap Golf and Country Club?
Position Schedule -, Saturday, Sunday - 5:30AM/6:00AM - 10:30AM/11:00AM - Depending upon time of Season - Start times as early as 4:00AM on tournament days. There will be days when this position will work a 4hour shift instead of a 5hour shift.
This positions main responsibility will be doing course setup for the golf course. This includes but is not limited to changing cups, divot repair, tee setup, cleaning outside bathrooms.
Responsibilities:
- The Groundskeeper reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for performing work related to the care and maintenance of the golf course and grounds
- Operate utility vechiles and small engine equipment operation.
- Perform landscaping duties to ensure course landscaping is healthy and attractive; leaf blow areas, rake bunkers,
- Perform routine golf course operations activities; set tee markers and cups, maintain ball washers, replace tee towels and flags, remove trash and debris, mark hazard and drop areas, etc
- Assist with cart control; mark course, move cart barriers, maintain ropes and signs, etc
- Perform other duties as assigned
These positions is for the grounds department. Applicants may work in adverse conditions.
Position includes sick pay, discounted meals, and golfing privileges on Mondays. $5.00 employee lunch while working.
