Housekeeper – Full Time
Hiring Range: $18.13 – $21.75 per hour

Kitsap Mental Health Services is hiring a Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our commercial buildings are clean and presentable at all times. Primary Responsibilities:
- Efficient Cleaning: Work both independently and as part of a team to clean commercial buildings efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness with minimal supervision.
- Restroom Maintenance: Daily cleaning and disinfecting of all restrooms, including surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and hardware. Restock soap and paper dispensers to ensure they are adequately supplied.
- Trash Management: Empty all interior and exterior trash receptacles daily and dispose of refuse appropriately. Keep paper products well-stocked in designated locations for staff use.
- General Cleaning: Daily cleaning of lobbies, lounges, hallways, kitchens, dining areas, bedrooms, offices, stairwells, group and work rooms, covering all surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, hardware, and glass.
- Floor Maintenance: Monitor and clean carpeted areas using specified methods and specialty equipment. Maintain vinyl composite flooring through stripping, sealing, finishing, and burnishing as needed.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock custodial closets and carts, ensuring an adequate supply of paper and chemical products for team members and staff.
- Safety Compliance: Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment, maintain safety data sheets, and follow chemical labeling, mixing, and usage instructions and regulations.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine cleaning and periodic maintenance on custodial equipment to keep it in good working order and to maintain building aesthetics.
- Reporting: Promptly report any equipment or facility damage, suspicious activity, security risks, or safety hazards to your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Entry (minimum 1 year of job-related experience)
This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must meet agency driving requirements, including meeting the minimum age requirement of 21 years old, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation.
