Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Supervisor to oversee operations within our facility, ensuring the highest standards of care for individuals with intellectual challenges. This role requires a proactive approach to team management and the ability to implement best practices in health coaching and care standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Implement health coaching strategies to promote wellness among individuals with intellectual challenges.
- Maintain open communication with families, staff, and the DDA regarding resident care.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual challenges or disabilities in general is essential.
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff members.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and compliance within the facility.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A passion for health coaching and promoting wellness among individuals in care.
- Be completely familiar with agency policies and procedures in order to respond to questions and/or problems.
- Coordinate services with other agencies.
- Coordinate staff training with program coordinator and Administrator.
- Supervise and evaluate other employees work performance.
- Transport people as needed.
- Assist individuals in community social interactions.
- Assist with medical and other appointments as needed.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
- Fill in for employees as needed.
- Share on call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
- Ensure that all medical needs are followed through.
- Assist in all aspects of individual’s financial needs.
- Schedule employees.
- Complete all agency and non-agency time lined documents in a timely manner.
- Continue on going education as agreed upon with Administrator.
- Work with clients as needed/scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
