Babcock Ranch, America’s first solar powered town seeks an experienced Construction Manager. The Construction Manager oversees and manages the commercial, industrial, and retail construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, in a cost-effective manner and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
- Oversee all construction activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
- Quality Control and Safety
- Budget and Resource Management
- Scheduling and Coordination
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Documentation and Reporting
- Client and Stakeholder Communication
Skills and Abilities:
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore).
- Solid understanding of construction processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Familiarity with contract management and negotiation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial, industrial, and retail projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
Educations and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CCM, PMP) are a plus.
