What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) position at Kitten Central NorCal?
Kitten Central NorCal is a unique nonprofit veterinary hospital specializing in neonatal kittens 0-28 days old.
The applicant will be trained and under the direction of our Medical Director, DVM, in the care of kittens from birth to adoptable age. This includes but is not limited to, full examinations, administration of vaccines and wormers, and triaging with a medical plan.
Other duties include overseeing medical assistants, ordering supplies, scheduling, and participating in work events. As newborns are emergent, they must be flexible; a possible lead position is available.
The position is hourly and will be based on DOE. It would be best for the applicant to reside in Placer County.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
