Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant in Training is designed to be a temporary position while the employee goes through the KVH Nursing Assistant-Certified Program. The program prepares students to qualify for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination (NNAAP), in preparation to work as a professional nursing assistant in Washington State.
The KVH Nursing Assistant-Certified Program is a 6-week paid training program with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site, under the guidance of a preceptor. This position will rotate through all inpatient units at the hospital, including but not limited to; Medical/surgical, critical care, emergency services, family birthing, and surgical outpatient.
