Job Description
The Clinical Director will oversee the provision of all home clinical services including nursing, home health aides, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language services, bereavement and social services. The clinical manager also supervises the Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program and the Wound Care Clinic. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication with hospital department directors to facilitate smooth operations of the program, oversee the professional development and clinical competency of staff and for maintaining a professional environment in which staff can grow and develop. The Clinical Director also ensures accurate, compliant and specific documentation within patient charts to meet state and federal guidelines. Performs a variety of duties involving administration and implementation of clinical software applications, as well as education and support to the end user of software. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborates with Business Office Manager to formulate recommendations designed to improve clinical and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
What is required...
- Three years of home care or relevant clinical experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Current CPR card (maintenance required)
- A current Washington State driver’s license
- A reliable vehicle for transportation
- Automobile liability insurance
What is preferred...
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Certification in specialty area
- Previous experience in Process Improvement activities
- Two years supervisory experience
- Prior experience in wound care
- Prior supervisory experience in a union environment
Additional Information
Wage: Wage range starts at $113,360/year to $178,089/year. Actual wage will be determined based on previous years' of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week; Exempt
