What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stand Up Reach Forklift Operator position at Kittrich Corporation?
Kittrich Corporation is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Stand up Forklift Operator for our 2nd shift from 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday. The prime function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Stand up forklift or other hand truck
- Log location transfers to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by Kittrich Corporation
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
- Performing routine post and pre inspections and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
- Reporting any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
- Loading or unloading materials manually, off or onto pallets.
- Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
- Ability to stand for extended period of time.
- Consulting, working, and coordinating with supervisors, managers, equipment manufactures, and employees regarding unloading and loading operations.
- Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debris.
Skills:
- Operating powered Stand Up forklifts
- Posses high regard for safety and Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to read labels and numbers.
- Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Must have the sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision.
- Physical ability to periodically lift heavy objects.
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
