Today, Kittson Healthcare is a twelve-bed acute care federally designated Critical Access Hospital and fifty bed long term care facility which also includes a home healthcare agency, 8 bed assisted living facility and an ambulance service. There is a medical clinic located in the complex as well as a satellite medical clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota. JOB SUMMARY:

Provides efficient and timely delivery of packages, documents, or materials within a set timeframe of approximately one hour. The courier must ensure all deliveries are handled with care, maintaining security and confidentiality. In this short work period, the courier will pick up items from designated locations, confirm addresses, and deliver them accurately to their intended recipients. Couriers must maintain clear communication with supervisor regarding delivery updates and any potential issues that may arise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Familiarity with local streets, highways, and traffic patterns to ensure efficient delivery.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Competency in driving safely and handling the assigned delivery vehicle under various weather and road conditions.
• Ability to keep accurate delivery logs, records, and other documentation as needed.
• Capable of completing deliveries with minimal supervision while following facility guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting.
• Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment.

JOB SCHEDULE/LOCATION(S):

• Karlstad, MN and Hallock, MN
• Flex (0-48 hours bi-weekly)
• Shift Monday-Thursday 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
