JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at Kittson Healthcare. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our patients. Your main goal will be to ensure that our patients receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents and patients.
- Ensure that meals meet the dietary needs of patients and residents.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
- Follow all infection control procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service (nice to have)
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Relate positively to patients and Residents
- 1-year general experience (nice to have).
- Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting.
- Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment.
JOB SCHEDULE/LOCATION(S):
- Hallock, MN
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday: 5:30 am – 1:45 pm
- Every other weekend and holiday
- Long-term care, Hospital, and Clinic setting
