JOB SUMMARY:
Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate patient care within our dynamic workplace environment. The role involves assessing patients’ health and wellbeing, ability to follow, develop and implement individualized care plans unique to each individual. RNs will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other health professionals ensuring quality care. The role you will be responsible for administering medication and or treatment options, monitoring health incline or decline, and educating patient and family members about the health condition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of various medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of body systems and functions to assess and manage patient health effectively.
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology and jargon in patient care.
- Proficient in clinical and assessment skills in patient care.
- High level of accuracy data entry; ensure patient safety, effective communication, and quality care.
- Possess problem solving skills to make informed decisions and respond to complex and urgent situations.
- Demonstrate understanding and care towards patients and families.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Comprehension and delivery of patient safety and healthcare ethics.
- Ability to manage conflict resolutions in a professional and effective manner
- Commitment to continuous education to stay informed of the ever-changing healthcare field as it relates to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of accredited nursing program for Registered Nurse.
- Current MN RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and TNCC or CALS (nice to have or must obtain upon hire).
- Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting.
- Complete TB test within the first 4 weeks of employment.
JOB SCHEDULE/LOCATION(S):
- Hallock, MN
- Part-time
- 12 hour shifts 6:45am-7:15pm and 7:00pm-7:00am on rotation
- Every 3rd weekend (Friday-Sunday) and rotating
- Hospital setting
