DESCRIPTION
Our wait staff is a team of professional servers responsible for delivering meals and drinks, providing menu recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They work collaboratively to maintain cleanliness standards and deliver exceptional service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for welcoming seated guests, taking orders accurately, delivering orders promptly and efficiently, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and management team to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service
- Become familiar with menu to advise on food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
- Take orders and deliver them to the table deftly and accurately
- Attend to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards
- Resolve any issues
- Deliver checks and accept payment
- Work with other staff as a team
- Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
- Prior serving experience is preferred
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of or ability to learn food safety regulations
- Customer-oriented
- Outstanding people skills
- Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
- Ability to be flexible and work a variety of shifts
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe
- Able to carry trays or supplies weighing 10-30 lbs
