Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our facility. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Provide direct support in areas such as airway management, pain management, and daily living activities.
- Assist with the training and development of staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills for effective caregiving.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility.
- Engage with residents and their families to address concerns and enhance their experience.
- Maintain accurate records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
- Experience with specific patient populations, including toddlers or individuals requiring dialysis, is a plus.
- Familiarity with lifting techniques and equipment to assist residents safely is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members.
