Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Operations Consultant to develop, review, and optimize comprehensive Operating Procedures and Training Modules for an Offshore Gas Production and Onshore Gas Receiving and Treatment Facility associated with an offshore gas production project. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all procedures and training modules align with safety, operational, and regulatory standards while enhancing efficiency and reliability in offshore/onshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Update detailed operating procedures for Offshore Gas Production, processing, and utility systems, including commissioning, start-up, normal operations, and shutdown sequences. Ensure procedures cover safety-critical processes, including emergency response and control of hazards.
- Develop and Update detailed operating procedures for Onshore Gas Production facilities associated with offshore gas production, including gas reception, processing, and utility systems, including start-up, normal operations, and shutdown sequences. Ensure procedures cover safety-critical processes, including emergency response and control of hazards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to collect and interpret technical data, drawings, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams. Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly procedural documents.
- Ensure all procedures adhere to relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ISO), local regulations, and company policies. Incorporate feedback from risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP) into procedures.
- Provide training materials and conduct sessions to familiarize operations teams with newly developed procedures. Offer ongoing support to ensure proper implementation and adoption of procedures offshore.
- Review and update procedures regularly to reflect process improvements, equipment modifications, or regulatory changes. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent operational experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of operational experience in offshore gas production and treatment facilities.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operating procedures for complex oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of offshore production systems, including gas separation, dehydration, compression, and treatment.
- Familiarity with safety management systems, process safety, and emergency response protocols.
- Proficiency in interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, and other engineering documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze and simplify complex systems for operational clarity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic project demands.
