What You’ll Do
You will be an integral part of our currently small finance team, which is responsible for all aspects the accounting process, AP, AR, transactional accounting, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and preparing monthly and interim financial statements, in accordance with established policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller and may have direct reports in the future as the team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
· Participate in the financial closing process by performing monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
· Manage Accounts Receivable and Payables
· Prepare reports and analysis to support retail locations
· Develop and implement process improvements to enhance controls, efficiency, and automation
· Perform ad-hoc analyses, research issues and participate in projects with other individuals across the company
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· 3 years accounting experience
· NetSuite experience strongly preferred
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Positive attitude with strong customer service mentality…joy in providing timely and accurate information and supporting the needs of your colleagues
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
