What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Construction Foreman position at KJM Landscapes LLC?
KJM’s foreman are dedicated to managing and completing landscape construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that the customer is satisfied, feels valued and respected, while their project is being completed, as well as, leading their team with precision, proper communication, and timeliness.
Essential responsibilities and duties:
- Install landscape construction projects according to plans and budget
- Understand designs, construction details, and planting plans
- Utilize laser levels to establish grades and elevations
- Effectively communicate with designer, project manager, and client throughout the duration of projects with updates.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy job site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and truck/trailer, maintain fuel levels, complete basic safety and fluid checks prior to using equipment.
- Safely drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites daily, possibly transporting equipment.
- Train and lead team members on all jobsite tasks
- Professionally provide feedback to leadership about issues within their team, equipment damages, and any other problems they face.
Qualifications:
- 3 years landscape construction foreman experience
- Valid drivers license and authorized to work in the United States
- Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques, pavers, stonework, planting practice, and grading.
- CDL preferred but not required. We can assist with studying and practice and financial needs.
- The ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required.
