Position Summary
KKR Credit & Markets (“KCM”) is seeking a Structured Markets Associate whose primary responsibilities would be supporting senior members of the Structured Markets team with the sourcing, structuring, negotiation and execution of structured financing arrangements for KKR’s asset-based investments. This role is a unique opportunity to become an important part of the growing Structured Markets business at KKR.
Ideal Experience
A successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience with several asset classes in consumer loan finance (student, auto, unsecured consumer), residential mortgage credit, transportation finance (aircraft, rail, shipping), commercial finance (equipment leasing, trade receivables) and renewables ABS (resi solar leases and loans). The candidate’s experience should have primarily been in the evaluation, structuring and execution of asset backed financing facilities and/or securitizations backed by these assets.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the lender outreach process and evaluate financing terms
- Assist in the term sheet negotiation and credit documentation processes
- Assist in rating agency conversations on rated transactions
- Project manage the lender due diligence, closing and funding processes
- Stay informed about ABS market developments
- Develop and maintain tracking for lender and investor conversations and market developments
- Create pitchbooks / case studies of deals for both and internal external review
- 3-4 years of relevant asset-based finance experience at an investment bank, asset manager, or accounting firm
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Understanding and experience with rating methodologies are a plus
- Strong personal initiative and desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to be highly productive in a fast paced, transaction-oriented department
- Ability to learn quickly with strong attention to detail
- An extroverted personality (outward facing role) with significant interaction with issuers, capital providers and KKR’s LPs
Base Salary Range
$130,000—$165,000 USD
