Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead by example - promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive safety improvements through risk identification and elimination, as well as full compliance with daily risk assessment completion, leveraging support from other groups as needed.
- Complete required PASA audits for improving Behavior Based Safety, and drive team behaviors for continued safety awareness and practices.
- Quality point of contact for specific internal plant quality improvement initiatives involving card manufacturing operations as directed by the Site Manager and Site Quality Manager.
- Primary resource for direct card customers, providing field support when needed and traveling to customer locations as required.
- Investigate complaints, recommend settlement of complaints, for which company is responsible, within limits prescribed by management.
- Maintain and improve product and process quality on the coating and lamination lines in the Foil & Lamination Department.
- Drive the corrective action process with thorough, timely and accurate responses to our customers.
- Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, statistical control and other available tools to identify areas of improvement in the card manufacturing activity in the plant.
- Assist production regarding customer complaints with respect to quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
- Analyze production data and identify trends, proactively implementing solutions to prevent quality issues and optimize processes in the kp Foil & Lamination Department.
- Conduct departmental audits to determine compliance to SOPs and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Keep kp management team abreast of significant issues and developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
- Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization by providing information on process ability, yield, quality risks for new products.
