What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Support Coordinator position at KL&J Life Care Resource Agency?
This is not a PCA or work from home role. This part time role is from Monday through Fridays and every other weekend. You will be working a 4-to-6-hour daily schedule for a minimum of 20 hours per week. In this role you will draw on your soft skills to provide support for people of various ages who live with developmental or mental challenges. Support is provided in the clients' homes and in the community. Our dedicated personnel provide support services by partnering with our clients on a one- on -one basis to work towards meeting specific program goals outlined in accordance with applicable federal and state standards. Interested candidates should be available to work at least every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support/mentoring to assigned clients
- Positively reinforcing behaviors in clients that aid in development
- Documentation of activities and client's progress
- Provide occasional transportation to clients if the client assigned has limited access to transportation.
Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the US.
- At least 18 years
- Pass a background check
- Some customer service experience or experience working with seniors, people with developmental disabilities, mental illness or chemical dependency
- Have a high school diploma or higher
- Valid drivers license with active auto insurance and clean history
- Have a reliable form of transportation
