Job Description / Preferred Qualifications
As the EHS Program Engineer, you will develop into a business partner to help support the business groups’ EHS goals while ensuring corporate EHS goals and legal requirements are being met. You will be responsible for supporting the local EHS functions and other departments with a primary focus on engineering cleanrooms and laboratories.
The person in this role will :
- Provide day-to-day EHS support for our engineering cleanrooms and laboratories and special projects.
- Coordinate EHS Management of Change Program and provide consultation on new program launches, construction projects, and non-routine maintenance.
- Participate in plan development and implementation, proposal review, hazard identification, and risk management with business teams.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessments and develop hazard control strategies to reduce risk of injury and potential environmental harm.
- Provide EHS guidance for high hazard operations including laser devices, magnetics, EMF, XRF, UV, and electrical safety.
- Develop and implement EHS programs and training.
- Partner with managers, supervisors, and team leaders in incident investigations, corrective action deployment, and effectiveness evaluations.
- Participate in campus and project safety committees.
- Be the EHS expert for the teams you support with excellent customer service.
- Audit your areas for conformance to company and regulatory EHS programs.
- Obtain and maintain appropriate EHS credentials required to be successful in this position.
