KLA is looking for a Principal Electron-Optics Research Scientist in our Chief Technology Office in Milpitas, CA!
- Expertise in Electron Optics including Optical System design; Lens Design; and Tolerance Analysis of Complex Optical Systems.
- Extensive knowledge of high voltage electronics.
- Extensive knowledge in surface science of electron-surface interactions.
- Extensive knowledge in design and modelling of ultra-high vacuum systems.
- Develop and / or provide significant input to the top-level system specifications, sub-system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware solution.
- Stay up to date on related external research and developments.
- Collaborate with CTO team to develop new suppliers and research partners when appropriate.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 15 years.
