AutoCAD Engineer
Classification: Non-Exempt

Your Impact
The Auto CAD Engineer is responsible for producing clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications.
A Glimpse of What Youll Do
- Work with CAD systems to analyze, design, and build technical solutions that deliver the customers needs
- Read and understand project specifications, procedures, and requirements as necessary to create and update drawings
- Work closely with all departments to obtain technical details, optimize designs, and resolve issues.
- Individually check work for completeness, accuracy, compliance to standards, fits and stack-ups
- Designs from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or other illustrations or specifications
- Use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines for customer satisfaction
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
What You Bring
- Time management skills to meet agreed upon customer deliverables, able to manage multiple projects
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Two to five years experience with IT AutoCAD Design and Engineering.
Additional Information
- Full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
