Your Impact
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for generating new leads through outbound prospecting. This position will focus on lead generation - contacting, and developing relationships with potential customers, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
A Glimpse of What You’ll Do
- Develop a solid understanding of KLA’s overall business capabilities
- Research organizations to identify needs and key decision makers
- Promote and uphold KLA’s values, reputation, and culture
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Proactively seek new business opportunities
- Provide prompt responses to all prospects and customers
- Schedule meetings for executives and prospects
- Maintain fruitful relationships with customers and address their needs effectively
- Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers
- Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
- Collaborate with sales executives to ensure KLA’s goals and targets are met
- Attend networking events
What You Bring
- Desire for continuous learning in the field of sales
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or a related field is preferred
Additional Information
- Full time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
- Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds
