The Lineperson will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines.
Duties
- Operate bucket trucks for the installation and maintenance of overhead electrical lines.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
- Utilize heavy equipment to assist in construction site operations.
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on electrical systems.
- Rig materials safely for lifting and transportation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical work is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with bucket operation and heavy equipment handling.
- Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is an advantage.
