JOB SUMMARY The Aviation Distance Education Adjunct Instructor will provide online instruction for courses on a term-by-term basis. This position reports to the Aviation Program Director. The Aviation Distance Education Adjunct Instructor should have a main area of study in Aviation related fields including but not limited to Meteorology, Aerodynamics, Aviation Law and Regulations, Aviation History, Unmanned Arial Systems, Aircraft Systems & Structures, Aviation Safety, and Human Factors. Classes are offered online via Canvas. Salary for courses taught by adjunct instructors is calculated by the type of instruction and the number of credits for the course. Lecture and lab courses are paid per credit hour based on the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for faculty.
