Job Summary
The Digital Media Specialist works closely with the Center for Teaching and Learning team to provide support for educational technologies.

- Support college faculty and subject-matter experts in course design elements provided by software such as DesignPLUS.
- Learn new software quickly.
- Explore and demonstrate the features of the LMS (Canvas).
- Assist with the administrative tasks, including setup, maintenance, and organization of the college LMS Canvas
- Guide the design, development, and integration of multimedia materials.
- Work with faculty and staff to create accessible documents, videos, and other types of media.
- Work within Canvas to ensure that files, pages, and other types of media meet accessibility requirements
- Apply best practices in course design, assure fair use and copyright, and support ADA compliance.
- Assist with troubleshooting software applications and educational technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
