- Helpdesk Support: Respond to requests via in-person, phone, remote connection, or email. Track and monitor tickets using helpdesk software and provide new user training and system updates. Troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices, VoIP systems, printers, network devices, and user software
- Hardware and Software Maintenance: Upgrade PC hardware/software for compatibility and performance. Conduct routine maintenance and perform quality assurance testing for software
- IT Inventory Management: Maintain inventory database throughout the equipment lifecycle, perform asset audits, and manage surplus property
- User Training: Assist in developing training materials and conducting one-on-one or group training sessions
- Research and Procurement: Evaluate hardware/software, provide recommendations, and support procurement processes. Track maintenance and licensing renewals
- Project Assistance: Support planning and implementation phases of IT projects in collaboration with departments and vendors
- Administrative and Financial Tasks: Coordinate budgetary information with departments, maintain accurate records, and assist in balancing the IT budget
- Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school OR two years of relevant experience OR a combination of education and experience
- Certification:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, application suites, file structures, and hardware
- Familiarity with devices such as smart telephones, VOIP systems, tablets, printers, and copiers
- Exceptional language, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- Ability to draft and interpret technical documentation
