(KHP), is a Federally Qualified Health Center whose mission is to provide accessible, quality-driven, responsive, patient-centered health services to the community, with an emphasis on those who need us most. Staffed by a comprehensive team of over 50 health professionals and over 100 support personnel, KHP is the second-largest healthcare provider in the Klamath Basin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview patients, accurately measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height), and record information on patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Assist Providers with examinations and procedures.
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Operate equipment such as electrocardiographs (EKG) to administer routine diagnostic tests.
- Schedule patient tests with medical facilities or departments.
- Administer injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests.
- Participate in quality assurance measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The employee is expected to work Monday through Friday, with a various schedule between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and will be called upon to work extended hours and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. from time to time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, bend, lift, carry, write, and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
