Job Summary
The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in setting clinical standards, overseeing the delivery of medical services, and ensuring that our health center provides the highest level of care to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all clinical staff, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services that align with the center's goals and community health needs.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and continuing education of medical staff.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical practices and methodologies to continually improve quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders to promote wellness and health education.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to medical staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
- Valid state medical license.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of the operations and challenges specific to Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
