About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team at Klamath-Trinity Joint Unified. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for ensuring student safety and well-being while transporting students across the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate school buses in accordance with regulations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment for all passengers;
- Maintain accurate records of daily routes, schedules, and incidents;
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to develop and implement effective transportation strategies;
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and integrity;
- Engage with parents and guardians to address any concerns or issues related to student transportation.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement;
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean record;
