Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Collaborating Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. As a Collaborating Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in overseeing our psychiatric nurse practitioners and providing essential expertise TMS treatments. You will be integral to our patients' journey toward mental wellness, working closely with our clinical staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure patients receive personalized and evidence-based care.
- Provide consultation and guidance to the treatment team, offering your expertise in medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Perform TMS mapping and supervise the TMS treatment process to ensure accurate and effective stimulation as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in psychiatric care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients in compliance with clinic policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure holistic care for patients.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist with a valid medical license to practice in Indiana.
- Experience in administering TMS treatments is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn and receive additional training in these modalities is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and mentorship to psychiatric nurse practitioners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients on a compassionate and empathetic level.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in psychiatric medicine and related treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
