What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Care Advisor position at Klaton Consultants?
A Senior Care Advisor will be responsible for identifying potential leads for individuals and families who are looking for placement in an adult care home. S/he will work with all Executive Directors within the market area to determine the best placement for all referrals. They will be intimately familiar with the movement within a designated market as well as knowledgeable of all current and prospective competitors in their designated area. This role will assist the Executive Directors in maintaining a competitive edge in the market area.
This position is a full-time consulting role contracted with the Assisted Living Facility to perform duties. Consultant will report to the Regional Vice-President overseeing the Assisted Living Facilities for job assignments.

- Call, Email, and/or Text Message with prospective residents and /or individuals looking for placement on behalf of another who have inquired about senior living services
- Be intimately aware of the services provided by each community in assigned area
- Conduct an onsite visit to each community in assigned area on a semi-annual basis
- Take detailed notes of each interaction and enter all Sales Call information into company CRM
- Identify and work with Marketing team on advertising, collateral and event requests
- Communicate Community needs to Regional Vice President
- Strategically develop sales & marketing plan to increase and maintain high occupancy levels with appropriately placed residents
- Meet with Executive Directors regularly to determine needs and inventory
- Participate in the training of Executive Directors and each Community’s staff on important sales processes
- Utilize call rail system to monitor incoming and outgoing phone calls at each community in assigned area on quarterly basis.
- Maintain & keep updated competitive analysis for each community in assigned areas

- Regular worksite attendance.
- Strong management skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Experience in the senior living highly-regulated industry is a plus
- Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, sales techniques and sales systems
- They must be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, energetic, and extremely organized
- Computer acumen is a must as they will be using a web-based lead management tool and Microsoft products
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related experience
- At least two successful years experience in senior living
