PIZZA MAKER: Efficiently operate the pizza prep line with a team of 1-4 pizza makers, to accurately prepare a range of pizza styles to exceed guest expectations. Prepare all ingredients needed to ensure pizza line and the oven finish line is ready for the shift. Continuously monitor accuracy and quality of all pizza items before they are placed in the oven for baking. Communicate with other stations to ensure kitchen flow and efficiency.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and understand orders including order modifications
• Carefully handle orders with food allergies
• Open and close and the pizza prep table properly and fill out appropriate checklists

• Assist in food prep and dish washing during off periods

• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly

• Properly and accurately prepare all pizza items according to Klavon’s specifications

• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked and sanitary workstation as defined by health code and Klavon’s standards

• Learn all cheese, topping and sauce portioning

• Transfer orders to the pizza oven and communicate timing of grill line items with the grill line cooks

• During down time complete preventative maintenance tasks and other various cleaning duties as well as helping other team members as needed

• Properly managing dough to ensure room temperature, properly proofed dough.

• Clean, disassemble and reassemble the dough rolling machine and pizza prep tables

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Dependable team player with good attendance

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to handle high energy working while listening and communicating effectively

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

• Must always adhere to Klavon’s uniform policy and standards
