We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Care Representative to join our team in an inbound call-center environment. The ideal candidate will have a consistent work history, have proven experience in a fast-paced working environment and have experience in an inbound call-center setting. 


Customer Service & Inbound Call-Center Experience Required.


Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers long-term employment opportunities for individuals committed to excellence and growth.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls in a call center environment from customers and provide assistance.
  • Maintain proper documentation to record customer service activity.
  • Provide regular updates to customers, which may include providing difficult information to customers with confidence and deescalate situations while on the phone.
  • Record returns, process replacement orders and file shipping claims as needed.
  • Contact vendors via phone and/or email for return authorizations, invoices and credits while keeping proper documentation of contact with vendors.
  • Contact customers regarding return issues, payment of open invoices or collections issues.
  • Complete additional documentation and specialty project as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist other team members as needed or when directed by supervisor.
  • Work in harmony with all other team members and departments on a regular basis.
  • Other duties and project, as assigned.

Requirements

  •  High School Diploma or GED is required, bachelor’s degree in communications or related field is preferred. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in customer service is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in an inbound call-center environment, required.
  • Must be able to work 45 hours per week between the hours of 9am and 6:30pm. 
  • Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent follow-up communication with customers and/or vendors.
  • Must have problem solving & critical thinking skills.
  • Be able to stay organized while handling multiple customer service issues.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Need to be proficient with Office applications including (Word, Excel, Outlook email, web applications) and have an ability to learn new applications.
  • Must be able to concentrate and satisfactorily communicate in a call center environment with more than 15-20 other team members.
  • Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary seated position for extended periods of time, spend regular hours in front of a computer screen and use a headset while on calls.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
