Warehouse Associate/Picker/Packer

Kleen-Rite Corp is hiring for a Picker/Packer Associate positions in our Kansas City, MO distribution center. The Picker/Packer Associate position is responsible for accurately picking customer's orders & preparing for shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and reliable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all established procedures for each department within the Distribution Location, including all maintenance and safety procedures.
• Parts Picking – Quickly, accurately and efficiently pick parts from bins listed on orders.
• Parts Packing – Securely and efficiently pack parts orders into shipping containers, label boxes for shipment using computers, software and technology as needed.
• Use computers and hand-held equipment accurately where necessary.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties for to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment. Ensure all warehouse aisles are kept free and clear of products and other items.
• Express a positive and professional attitude towards your work, coworkers and Kleen-Rite.
• Achieve individual and departmental performance goals and objectives with general supervision.
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to learn new technology and computer programs such as: RF Scanners, Printing Programs, components of MS Office Suite and NetSuite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be punctual, reliable, and prepared for work during work days and hours.
• Have strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to read documents written in Standard English text.
• Enjoy working independently as well as in a team-environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must work within the framework of the Kleen-Rite Corp. Values and Mission Statement.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands:

• Stand and walk for long periods of time within a Warehouse Setting.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and lift, pull or push up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able and willing to complete a team list assist for any products/package exceeding 50 lbs.
• Must be able to reach above shoulder level frequently.
• Able to work around equipment, forklifts, large trucks, and loud noise.
• Must be able to regularly use warehouse equipment such as step stools, ladders and other tools to assist to retrieve products above ground level.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.
• Be able to use and work with a computer, and other technology that regularly requires you to be within 20 inches of a computer/electronic screen.
