What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant & Office Cleaner position at Kleen Test Products?
Kleen Test Products is in search of a Plant & Office Cleaner at our climate control and clean Sunset facility in Port Washington, WI on 1st (7AM-3PM) shift.
Under the direction of plant supervision, the Cleaner maintains the cleanliness of the plant and office areas while keeping in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Candidate must be readily available for an in-person / on-site interview.
Essential Functions:
- Cleaning of all plant and warehouse floors on a daily basis.
- General office cleaning to include trash removal, vacuuming and mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms.
- Complete cleaning of any work area requested by supervisor according to established guidelines.
- Assist with waste removal from line and/or plant.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
- Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks.
- Observe and verify other team members have correct PPE and following procedures and vice-versa ·
- Other projects and duties as assigned, which may include weekly, monthly or annual reoccurring tasks to be completed during downtime.
- Regular attendance is necessary to perform job duties.
- Interview - Candidate must be readily available for an in-person / on-site interview.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one or two-step instructions.
- Demonstrated understanding of PPE requirements and potential safety risks of not adhering to PPE protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), etc.
- Ability to read and understand training for specialized processes and retain information.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with visitors and personnel of all levels in the organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must have basic knowledge of spreadsheets, email, and inventory/manufacturing software programs.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
