Job Responsibilities
The Quality Control Line Tech will be responsible for:
- Performing quality checks on products using various methods, including weight, measurement, and visual inspection
- Documenting results and tests accurately and timely
- Communicating quality variances to management
- Ensuring that production processes comply with the quality system
- Operating testing equipment, such as pH meters, balances, and vacuum test equipment
- Verifying the identification and trace-ability of materials on the production line
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3-6 months experience in a similar role
- A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to write and document results of quality inspections
- Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems
- Ability to learn basic computer software programs, such as spreadsheets and word processing
- Ability to perform simple math calculations using the metric system
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
