Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on-site. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, concrete mixers, cranes, water trucks, and tankers.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Dig trenches, holes, or foundations as required for construction projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
- Assist in the transportation of materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including backhoe operation, loader operation, crane operation, and farm machinery experience preferred.
- Familiarity with concrete mixers and other construction-related machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required based on job site location.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy loads.
